THE PHOTO SOCIETY
TPS PRESENTS LECTURE SERIES
The Photo Society (TPS) is a non-profit organization of more than 200 National Geographic photographers who live and work in dozens of countries and dedicate their lives to passionate visual storytelling. In January 2021, as a member of its leadership team, I initiated a free monthly lecture series on Zoom called TPS Presents, where the public can watch members of the TPS present their work to a global audience. Follow @ThePhotoSociety on Instagram to stay up to date with our lecture series.
These talks depend on sponsorship from companies, mainly in the field of photography. If you or someone you know would like to become a sponsor, please reach out to TPS Director Alex Snyder at alex@alexsnyder.com.
TPS RENDEZVOUS
Back in February, I organized The Photo Society’s (TPS) first-ever TPS Rendezvous open to the public. Sponsored by Sony with additional support from Epson and held at the Wende Museum’s Glorya Kaufman Community Center in Los Angeles, the event was moderated by TPS Director Alex Snyder and featured a keynote presentation by Lauren Greenfield; a presentation by our 2026 Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Sisse Brimberg; and panel discussions on bookmaking, moderated by Elizabeth Krist, and documenting the State of the Union, moderated by David Fahey.
