THE ART OF STORYTELLING WORKSHOP IN NAGASAKI, JAPAN
Only one spot remains for my upcoming workshop, Nagasaki: The Art of Storytelling – Reportage, Series, Essay, taking place October 2–11, 2026.
Nagasaki is one of Japan’s most beautiful and historically resonant coastal cities—a remarkable setting for photographic storytelling, shaped not only by centuries of cultural exchange but also by the legacy of the atomic bombing.
Limited to eight participants, the workshop is designed for professional and dedicated amateur photographers who want to take their photography to the next level. It concentrates on the aesthetic, structural, and logistical aspects of creating compelling visual narratives with personal vision and balanced objectivity.
Three online sessions before our arrival will include portfolio reviews, theory, and preparation, allowing us to make the most of our time in Japan. In Nagasaki, each participant will develop an individual photographic story of their choice, with my guidance in the field and during editing, sequencing, and refinement.
Working closely with Nobechi Creative, we have designed the workshop to be an intensive and highly personal experience. For more information and to reserve the last spot, visit Nobechi Creative.
