PDN PHOTOPLUS EXPO

Capturing quality images at extremely high ISOs is one of digital technology's latest and most important advances – and its impact is nowhere more visible than in photojournalism and documentary photography. in In his seminar, Digital Vision in Low Light, Gerd Ludwig discusses the many advantages of digital technology at the PDN PhotoPlus Expo in New York City. Sponsored by Canon USA, the 3-hour seminar takes place at the Jacob Javits Convention Center from 8:45am to 11:45am on Saturday, October 30th. Gerd will also speak at the Canon booth from 3:15-4:00pm on Thursday, October 28th. Gerd also joins a panel discussion hosted by The Institute for Digital Media Arts entitled, "Ethics of Photography in the Digital Age." Moderated by Bobbi Lane, and including photographers John Ficara, Robert Meyer and other special guests, the panel discusses the ethical challenges and debates brought on by the advent of digital technology. The panel discussion takes place after his workshop on Saturday, October 30th, from 1:15pm to 3:15pm.
