National Geographic describes PROOF as its online photography experience and says: “It was launched to engage ongoing conversations about photography, art, and journalism.” In addition, the site will offer new avenues for audiences “to get a behind-the-scenes look at the National Geographic storytelling process.”

Gerd Ludwig is part of the initial video called The Photographers on Photography, which offers interviews with regular contributors to the magazine about a variety of subjects - such as their motivation; the lessons they’ve learned; and the power of still photography.
