LECTURE AT BROOKS INSTITUTE OF PHOTOGRAPHY, CALIFORNIA

Gerd Ludwig is giving a public presentation/lecture (followed by Q&A) in association with the Visual Journalism Program at Brooks Institute of Photography in Ventura, California at 6:30pm on Tuesday, February 6, 2007. Gerd will present a broad collection of his work, beginning with his Russian material including his most current work in Chernobyl, as well as an overview of his work for National Geographic and Geo. His lecture will touch on the structural, logistical, technical, and ethical aspects of developing long-term stories, balancing objectivity with personal vision in photojournalism and documentary photography.
