The ongoing influences and visual relationship between photography and painting are explored in the exhibit, Abstraction + Perspectives, at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, California. A selection of Gerd Ludwig’s fine art photographs are shown among those of other notable photographers and painters, including Douglas Kirkland, Jim McHugh, Shane Guffogg, and David Buckingham. An all day “Preview” is open to the public on Thursday, September 25, 2008, at PDC’s #B208 at 8687 Melrose Avenue, with an artists reception in the evening from 5:30pm – 8:30pm. The exhibition will run through October 9th.
